RWG Membership Meeting

WHAT IT IS: The Rights Working Group 2010 Membership Meeting will convene RWG members and allies in order to share information and ideas, develop collaborative strategies, and demonstrate our collective power to policymakers in Washington. This year, the Membership Meeting will focus on the Racial Profiling: Face the Truth campaign, which seeks to ban all forms of racial and religious profiling by law enforcement.
The gathering will offer a range of speakers and plenary sessions addressing racial and religious profiling and local community efforts to combat the practice; skills-building workshops and trainings; caucus sessions led by RWG members; and an Advocacy Day for participants to meet with their Congressional members to discuss what matters most to them.
