Turner, Maine - Before my daughter was born, I had two interactions with police men, once as a passenger, and once as the driver. As the passenger, I was asked to show ID when the driver was pulled over for an inspection sticker that expired three days ago. I provided ID, though I wasn't sure why I had to.
My sister visited from Washington right before my daughter was born to help out. I took her out to lunch one day. I was pulled over and asked for my license and insurance. I handed both over The office asked for my sister's ID, too. Since I was treating her to lunch, she didn't have anything with her. He then asked where she was from. When she said Washington, he asked which town she was from. Her two year old son was in the backseat. He asked us who the child belonged to. We were never told why I was pulled over. Both my sister and I have dark hair and skin. Submitted by www.mclu.org
